Divisions: One, Two, Three and Four

The playing format for the 4 Divisions for the 2019 season is as follows:

1st Division: 50 Overs (12 teams)

2nd Division: 45 Overs (12 teams)

3rd Division: 40 Overs (12 teams)

4th Division: 40 Overs (11 teams)


SCCA League Championship (One Day Match)

• All Teams will play each other once.

• The top 2 Teams with the highest points will be the League Division Champions and Runners-Up respectively. 

In case of a tie, the Championship will be based on Net Run Rate.

• The points from the League Championship will carry on to the T20 Format.

Depending on availability of grounds and dates, top four teams in each Division may play the ODI Playoffs before T20.

T20 Format:

(The points from the League Championship will carry on to the T20 Format).

After completion of the League Championship, the Teams will be divided into two groups 

according to the standing in the League Championship and play each other once in a T20 Format.

Super League: The top six Teams will play each other once in a T20 Format.

The winner of Super League will get a Trophy.

Star League: The bottom six Teams will play each other once in a T20 Format.

The winner of the Star League will get a trophy.

Playoff Championship: T20 Format

8 Teams (Starting from Quarter Final Stage)

The top two Teams from the Star League along with the six Teams from the Super League will play 

in playoffs in a T20 Format for the Playoff Championship and the Runners Up.

The ranking of the Teams will be based on the total points accumulated from the League Championship, 

the SUPER league and the STAR league.

In case of a tie, the ranking will be based on Net Run Rate.

Promotion: 2 teams

The top two Teams based on the total points from the League Championship and the Super

League combined will be promoted to the higher Division, where applicable.

Relegation: 2 Teams

The bottom two Teams based on the total points from the League Championship

and the Star League combined will be relegated to the lower Division, where applicable.

The winning team will be awarded 10 points for the League Championship matches 

as well as in the T20 matches. In case of a tie, the points will be split.

The points from the League Championship will carry on to the T20 Format.

It is mandatory for the Teams to participate in all the schedule games in all the formats for 2019 Season.

The fine to forfeit a SCCA schedule game is $500.00 per offence. The $250 of the forfeiture money will 

go to SCCA and $250.00 will go to the team affected by the forfeiture.


Rule change: Movement of players for 2019 Season

• Players cannot be transferred to the roster after the first four (4) games.

• No player movement is allowed for the T20 Tournament
