Result: Pacifica Lost by 8 Wickets

Clash of Table toppers didn't leave up to expectations.

After winning toss for first time this season Pacifica decided to bat first hoping to correct all the batting failures which happened during first 3 matches. Its was a no different show this time, Pacifica kept loosing wickets at regular intervals. After being 19-2 in 6 overs Pacifica's captain Preetham and Prashanth tried to steer the sinking ship by nudging singles and scoring occasional boundaries and looked in course for a big partenership. Prashanth paid price by playing across the line in 11 th over and got out LBW to Asrith and that opened the gates for Redlands, Preetham got out to a brilliant stumping from Shreyas Vakil the very next ball and No other pacifica batsmen except Chaitanya could build a partner ship to post an average score on Long beach ground to defend. Every body got out to faulty shot selection and some Brilliant Glove work  behind the stumps from Redlands wicket keeper Shreyas Vakil. Redlands were super miser in conceeding extras and were super fast in completing overs way ahead of scheduled time.

With 125 runs to defend ( which they did successfully ) in last two games Pacifica never lost Hope and they started aggressively. Prashanth took couple of wicket of the first ball of second over, 5th over respectively and looked good to repeat the effort against Hollywood 4. BUT  Shreyas Came at one down and played super sensibly and with his beautiful stroke making never let pacifica's bowlers settle. He gave couple of chances while still on 30's  which Pacifica failed to hold on and PAID a super heavy price at the end. FIRST LOSS of the season.

Performaces of the Day:
Majanu Seran's Bowling figures of 5-27 in 7.1 overs almost came un noticed.
Brilliant Stuff from Shreyas behind and before the stumps.

Hopefully Pacifica will learn from its mistakes and comeback super strong in coming matches and regain the TOPSPOT of the table in Division 5.
