Match Report: Regal Vs Britamer Played on Sat 05/05/2012 10:00 AM
Result: Britamer Won by 2 Wickets

Report by Britamer:
A great match to be watched by the spectators. Britamer Cricket Club bowled out Regal Cricket Club to 153 for 10 in 33.2 overs. Regal being a younger team replied well and kept the Britamer's batsmen in check for a long time. At one time Regal bowlers had reduced Britamer to 69 for four, but the Qaiser Muhammed and Noman Ghazali payed cautiously and brought the score to 115 for five when Noman played a cross shot and was adjudged LBW. Qaiser also followed the suit and got bowled out for a silly over confident shot when only 19 runs were needed to win the game. In coming batman Sohail Khan also tried to go in the air and got bowled the very first ball. It was drama moment when set batsman Qaisar and in coming threatening batsman Sohail Khan were both out on consecutive balls which gave a glimpse of hope to the opposition. Britamer dugout was tensed and nervous by the match slipping away from their hands by a  team who  had ascended from fifth to fourth division and playing their first game of the season. Idrees Mumtaz was next to go after 3 runs at 139 for eight. However, new batsmen Mubashir Shah and Mohammed Usman played cool calculated shots and chased the score with no further loss.

Britamer fielders held very crucial catches and bowlers, especially Faisal Malik and Qaisar Muhammad bowled their heart out and captured 4 and 3 wickets respectively. Britamer's captain Sohail Khan set an out standing field for Regal which paid off.

Congratulations to Britamer for their third win and best of luck for Regal for the rest of the season, as season is still long and they have great potential to prove some upsets in the division.
